He compiled a lot until his works amounted to 164, including: Al-Azma; Silence; certainty; slander the world Thanks; Vulva after distress and others.
He was born and died in Baghdad.١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ الَأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَيْرَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ مَنْ بَكَى مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَعُودَ اللَّبَنُ فِي الضَّرْعِ، وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَدُخَانُ جَهَنَّمَ فِي مَنْخَرَيْ عَبْدٍ أَبَدًا»book descriptionThe investigator’s goal in achieving this book and presenting it to the Muslims is to be a factor of tenderness that refines the soul, softens the heart, moisturizes the eyes, and then turns with reverence and submission to the One who is worshiped.
